Overview
Property litigators are often called in to take charge in the complicated world of lease renewals. Within this sphere, any practitioner specialising in commercial property will often have a steady stream of business tenancy renewals on foot at any one time. To act for and advise clients effectively and properly, a strong working knowledge of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 is an absolute must.
One deadline missed or an invalid notice served could be fatal and leave your client without protection, so too could failing to appreciate the stringent requirements of a particular ground of opposition. In this session, Brooke Lyne, Miriam Seitler and Poppy Kemp will take you on a whistle-stop tour of the essentials of practice, procedure and tips and tricks to help you avoid common pitfalls.
These webinars are designed to introduce key topics that are likely to crop up in a property litigator’s everyday practice. The talks will provide an overview of the legal and procedural landscape, with time for questions at the end.
