Borough council names solicitor as chief executive
North Warwickshire Borough Council has named solicitor Steve Maxey as its new chief executive.
Maxey has worked for the local authority since 2003 when he was appointed as the council’s Solicitor.
More recently the council’s Corporate Director for Environment, Maxey has been carrying out the role of Acting Chief Executive since Jerry Hutchinson retired after 23 years in post in March 2019.
Maxey has a strong history in local government having spent time at Nottingham City Council and prior to that held various roles at Broxtowe Borough Council.
