WYLAW authorities to procure latest legal framework worth £1m

The WYLAW group of local authorities have fired the gun on the procurement of their next legal framework, which is estimated to be worth up to £1m.

Bradford Metropolitan District Council is acting as lead authority for the framework agreement.

It is procuring the framework on behalf of itself and other customers as defined in the agreement. These other customers include the Council of the Borough of Kirklees, the Borough Council of Calderdale, Leeds City Council, City of York Council and the Council of the City of Wakefield (together with Bradford the "WYLAW Group)

The closing time and date is 12 pm on 18 June 2021.

The contract, which will not be divided into lots, is scheduled to start on 25 August 2021 and run until 18 July 2024. There will be scope for one 12-month renewal.

In July 2017 the WYLAW Group appointed 19 law firms, Sheffield City Council and Invicta Law (the alternative business structure owned by Kent County Council) to a multi-lot framework agreement worth an estimated £2.5m per annum.
