Walker Morris hires Webster as director in Energy, Infrastructure & Government team

Walker Morris has hired Kate Webster as a Director in its Energy, Infrastructure & Government Team.

The firm said: “With over nine years' specialist experience, Kate has a strong track record working with both the public and private sectors advising on all aspects of complex contracts, particularly procurement, for major capital projects, regeneration schemes, energy and energy efficiency schemes.”

Webster’s previous roles include working in-house at a Danish infrastructure company delivering the tendering process and commercial contracts for the €5.5bn Fehmarnbelt tunnel project in Denmark.

She has also undertaken secondments (while in private practice) with OFWAT, British Gas and NHS BSA, advising on a wide range of matters including procurement law compliance, commercial contracts, CSR and supply chain policies and regulatory price reviews.

David Kilduff, Head of the Energy, Infrastructure & Government Team at Walker Morris, said:"We are delighted that Kate has joined the team, which represents a real coup for the firm. Her skill set and experience reinforces the substantial specialist expertise we have in this practice area.

"Kate's appointment is part of a continued expansion for the team as we will be looking to strengthen the team further with an additional appointment later in the year.”
