Community Housing Cymru hires Devonshire to advise on reclassification of housing associations

Community Housing Cymru, the representative body for housing associations in Wales, has retained Devonshires to advise on the implications of the decision by the Office for National Statistics in England to reclassify housing associations in England as public bodies.

The law firm said: “This comes on the back of work which Devonshires has been doing for the National Housing Federation in England on the implications of the ONS decision and deregulatory legislation introduced by HM Government.”

The lead partners at Devonshires are Nick Billingham and Andrew Cowan.
