Musical chairs as North West housing group re-procures legal panels

A Liverpool-headquartered social housing group is to re-procure its panel of legal advisers, with the work available estimated to be worth up between £457,800 and £550,600 over four years.

The agreement to advise Symphony Housing Group will be for a two-year period commencing on 1 April 2016, with an option to extend for a further two years.

The group envisages a maximum eight participants to the framework agreement, which will have six workstreams/lots:

1. Housing, Leasehold & Asset Management;

2. Property, Development & Regeneration;

3. Commercial, Contract and Procurement;

4. Corporate, Governance & Regulation;

5. Finance;

6. Human Resources.

Up to three of the highest ranking firms in each workstream will be appointed to the panel.

Symphony Housing Group said it was looking for firms which were able to: provide technically excellent legal services and legal advice; demonstrate extensive experience of working with registered providers; demonstrate their ability to deliver excellent service standards; show creativity and innovation in the provision of legal services; and support and work in partnership with the Group's in-house Legal Department.

Symphony says it is the largest social landlord focused solely on the North West, owning and managing 41,000 homes across Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire.
