Kent County Council and Invicta Law to set up barristers framework

A trading unit for Kent County Council, KCS Professional Services, is to procure a barristers' services framework agreement for use by the local authority and its alternative business structure Invicta Law.

KCS Professional Services said it wished to create a “national, user friendly, time and cost effective” framework agreement.

The agreement will cover the provision and ability to provide a full range of barrister services and associated services.

Indicative requirements include, but are not limited to, the following categories or service provided: Child Protection; Adult Services; Community Care; International Services; Finance Services; Procurement & Contract Services; and Civil Litigation. Services may extend beyond those listed.

The framework is scheduled to last for 48 months.

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 2 pm on 23 July 2021.
