Capsticks makes record number of promotions across firm
Capsticks has announced a record number of promotions at the firm, after promoting 47 people across its legal and business service teams.
The figure includes two equity partners, three partners, seven legal directors, 13 principal associates, two senior associates and 14 senior paralegals. Six individuals have also been promoted across the firm's business service teams,
Mary Mundy and Spencer Vella Sultana have been promoted to equity partners.
Vella Sultana, who specialises in housing and regeneration, will continue to lead a housing and regeneration practice nationally as well as head up the Capsticks Winchester office.
Capsticks said that, with his support, its housing and regeneration practice has grown to £7m since he joined in 2017.
Mundy, who specialises in corporate and commercial law, will continue to lead the firm's procurement practice as well as being the Deputy Head of its Healthcare sector.
The three new salaried partners are Jeremy Loran, Jonathan Lewis and Nalton Stembari.
Loran, who is in the firm's Advisory team, will support clients in the healthcare sector nationally, and lead a team of specialists in London with a focus on client relationship management and people development.
Lewis, a barrister in the Employment & Pensions team, will focus on supporting NHS healthcare clients, regulatory bodies and clients in the housing sector in the East and West Midlands with their employment and pension matters.
Stembari, a member of the Housing & Regeneration team, will meanwhile be focussed on developing the Capsticks' plot sales team, with a particular responsibility for growing its plot sales team in its Manchester office.
Stembari's work is part of an effort to enable the firm to support a broader number of housing clients in the North of England, the firm said.
