The appointments are made by the Queen on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, Elizabeth Truss, following consideration by the independent Queen’s Counsel Selection Panel.

Commenting on the Cornerstone Barristers appointments, Head of Chambers Philip Kolvin QC said: "We are very pleased to congratulate Paul, Matt and Tom on their well-deserved appointments as Queen's Counsel. Their appointments are further evidence of the wealth of talent and experience within Cornerstone Barristers and increases the number of silks in Chambers to 15, a record for our organisation.”
