Hempsons strengthens procurement team with Ramshaw hire

Hempsons has hired procurement law specialist Deborah Ramshaw as a partner.

Ramshaw joins the firm’s Newcastle office after 17 years at Bond Dickinson, before which she was a solicitor in local government.

She has expertise in a wide range of sectors including health, local government, central government, energy (including district energy schemes), transport, education and registered providers. She also advises private sector providers across a range of procurement law matters.

At Hempsons, Ramshaw will be working with a range of clients both within and outside the health sector. In particular, she will advise contracting authorities in the education, local government and housing sectors.

She said: “I am delighted to be joining Hempsons to deliver a top class procurement service to a range of contracting authorities.”
