BLM hires healthcare specialist Trinder from Bevan Brittan

BLM has hired healthcare specialist Matthew Trinder from Bevan Brittan, where he was a partner in the firm’s London clinical risk team.

Trinder has handled defendant clinical negligence litigation for the National Health Service Litigation Authority (NHSLA), a large number of NHS Trusts, the UK’s largest independent provider of clinical laboratory diagnostics services, individual doctors and private medical malpractice insurers including the likes of Marketform, ACE (Chubb) and Avant.

BLM partner Vicki Swanton, who leads NHSLA customer relationships at the firm, said: “We are thrilled to have Matthew on board with us. His experience working with some of the leading healthcare organisations and insurers makes him the perfect addition to our team.”

BLM senior partner Mike Brown said: “It is the healthcare team’s breadth of expertise across a diverse range of services that continually attracts customers to the firm. Meeting the legal needs of medical defence organisations, insurers, care homes, corporate customers and a variety of healthcare professionals is a key focus for the team.”
