Bevan Brittan builds new Leeds office with three more partners

Bevan Brittan has bolstered the housing and commercial property teams at its new Leeds office with three new partners.

Housing specialists Hugo Stephens and Richard Stirk join from DWF, where they were partners, while Deborah Powell moves from Simpson Millar, where she was head of commercial property.

Bevan Brittan launched its Leeds office in September with the hire of Michael Boyd, a healthcare specialist, and Julie Cowan-Clark, a property lawyer. Both partners were also previously at DWF.

Subsequent arrivals included Judith Barnes, a former head of local government at DAC Beachcroft, and Frances Woodhead, ex-head of local government at Eversheds.

Duncan Weir, Managing Partner of Bevan Brittan, said: “I am very pleased to be able to announce these new appointments to our Leeds office. They are proof of the strength and depth of the team that we are assembling. We are building a joined-up team across key focus areas.”
