Harwood, Coppel and Isaacs among barristers to be appointed QC
A number of barristers whose practices include advising public bodies are among 84 to have been appointed as Queen’s Counsel.
Those selected in the 2012/13 exercise include:
- Jason Coppel, 11KBW;
- Stephen Cragg, Doughty Street Chambers;
- Richard Harwood, 39 Essex Street;
- Elizabeth Isaacs, St Ives Chambers;
- John Hayes, Zenith Chambers;
- Fionnuala McCredie, Keating Chambers;
- James Maurici, Landmark Chambers;
- Karl Rowley, St Johns Buildings;
- Kelvin Rutledge, Cornerstone Barristers;
- James Strachan, 39 Essex Street; and
- Sasha White, Landmark Chambers.
There were 183 applications this year. This represents the lowest figure since the QC appointments system was overhauled in 2005/06.
