Evans takes senior partner role at Bevan Brittan

Leading public sector lawyer Bethan Evans has been elected senior partner of Bevan Brittan.

Evans has been a partner at the law firm for a decade, having previously enjoyed a variety of roles in the sector.

She said: “I am very excited to be elected to this new role at a vibrant time for the firm. Our strategy as The Public Services Law Firm has resonated with our clients and enhanced our reputation at a time when the shape and delivery of public services is going through significant change.”

Bevan Brittan said the role of senior partner was to lead its “go to market” activities.

Managing partner Duncan Weir, who was appointed to his role in February this year, said: “I am delighted to have Beth on the Board. As well as the respect and admiration of the wider partner group she brings considerable experience, understanding and insight of the issues facing our public service clients having worked both in-house at senior management level and advised them in private practice.”
