Lancashire County Council
Lancashire is a great place to live and work. The county is situated in a fantastic location with excellent connectivity to the rest of the country and benefits from areas of outstanding natural beauty, a thriving cultural scene, great schools and universities, world-class businesses and industries, and cities that are both historic and modern.
The council is the largest in the North of England, with the fourth largest population in the country, employing more than 13,000 employees and serving our 1.2m residents over a large area that is twice the size of Greater London.
You will join a supportive and inclusive team that is passionate about their great county and its people, and about making Lancashire the best place to live, work, visit and prosper.
Candidates
This role calls for a legal services professional who can successfully operate as the Deputy Monitoring Officer in a large and complex political environment.
Lancashire County Council are committed to achieving equal opportunities in employment and service delivery and welcome applications from candidates from all backgrounds and sectors including those looking to take their first step into a role of seniority, as well as experienced candidates interested in developing their corporate portfolio.
What is most important is that you share our client’s passion and commitment for delivering improved outcomes for residents, and their desire to be inquisitive and think about how they can do things differently and challenge the status quo.
